Description:
The Discipline Management HRU is one part of a series of modules and is a prerequisite for the Just Culture module. The discipline management module is designed to enhance your knowledge and skills to address employee performance and behavior. By using participant discussion and scenarios, you will practice what you have learned to appropriately apply corrective disciplinary actions. The topics covered during the presentation will educate managers and participants on our policies and how to implement and enforce them appropriately. We encourage interactive discussions, so please be prepared to share “real life” examples from your department. Our goal is that you will leave with a better understanding of the HR policies and the course of action surrounding application of these policies. This course is a must-have for new managers and supervisors, including those leaders in your department with the responsibility of addressing employee behavior such as CMCs, Charge Nurses, and team leaders. Also, if you have not attended this course in the recent past consider attending it again as a refresher.
