The presenter and planning committee have disclosed that no commercial relationships exist About the Presenter: Loretta Ann Bostic DNP, APRN, CRNA Ann Bostic is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) and practices as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She has provided anesthesia services in WV for more than 20 years. She completed her Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2014 at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions with the primary focus of her research on substance use disorder. She has developed continuing education on substance use disorder, drug diversion, best practices for prescribing opioids, challenges in the management of chronic pain and the epidemic of prescription opioid abuse. Dr. Bostic has been actively involved with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Wellness & Peer Assistance Program for 10 years serving as State Peer Advisor and Regional Director. She has served on the WV Board of Nursing for 9 years. Currently she is President of the WV Chapter of the International Nurses Society on Addiction (IntNSA) and advocates for statewide SUD education for nurses.
