Description:
PALS Course is designed to give the Health care provider the basic knowledge to care for the pediatric patient in cardiac arrest and to manage resuscitation efforts in conditions that may lead to arrest.

You will be directed to the E-learning website for the AHA.
1.) PALS Pre-course Self-Assessment and Pre-course Work (CME/CE Credits are offered for this Pre-course work)
Once you have finished you will need to print the completion certificate. Or take a screen shot to show your instructor on the 1st day of class. *They will give you an email address to forward it to.
2.) This pre-course self-assessment must be finished prior to coming to the course.
3.) You will also need to get a copy of the most up to date version of the AHA Book. The versions were updated August 2020 by the AHA. This will be the materials you are tested on at the end of the course.
Your manager should have a copy in their department. Or you can borrow one from the Simulation Center. If you come to class with out a book you will be turned away and will need to reschedule at a later date.
