PALS Course is designed to renew the Health care provider advanced knowledge to care for the pediatric patient in cardiac arrest and to manage resuscitation efforts in conditions that may lead to arrest.  ** You are registered for an upcoming AHA Course***

AHA Students: (NEW PRE-COURSE Work Assignments) PLEASE READ and follow the directions carefully. Go to the following website address: https://elearning.heart.org/course/427 You will be directed to the E-learning website for the AHA to complete the PALS Self-Assessment portion. 1.) Pre-course Self-Assessment and Pre-course Work (CME/CE Credits are offered for this Pre-course work) Once you have finished you will need to print the completion certificate. Or take a screen shot to show your instructor on the 1st day of class. *They will give you an email address to forward it to. 2.) This pre-course self-assessment must be finished prior to coming to the course. 3.) You will also need to obtain the most up to date version of the AHA Book. The versions were updated August 2020 by the AHA. This will be the materials you are tested on at the end of the course. Your manager should have a copy in their department. Or you can borrow one from the Simulation Center.
