Description:
ACLS/BLS Combined Course This course is designed to give the Healthcare Provider the basic and advanced knowledge to care for the patient in cardiac arrest and to manage acute coronary syndromes and stroke.

** You are registered for an upcoming AHA Course*** AHA Students: (NEW PRE-COURSE Work Assignments) PLEASE READ and follow the directions carefully. Go to the following website address: https://elearning.heart.org/course/423 You will be directed to the E-learning website for the AHA. It will let you choose from the classes you will be taking. Either ACLS or PALS. Choose the one below: 1.) ACLS Pre-course Self-Assessment and Pre-course Work (CME/CE Credits are offered for this Pre-course work) Once you have finished you will need to print the completion certificate. Or take a screen shot to show your instructor on the 1st day of class. *They will give you an email address to forward it to. 2.) This pre-course self-assessment must be finished prior to coming to the course. 3.) You will also need to get a copy of the most up to date version of the AHA Book. The versions were updated August 2020 by the AHA. This will be the materials you are tested on at the end of the course. Your manager should have a copy in their department. Or you can borrow one from the Simulation Center.
