Description: At the conclusion of this program participants should be able to: *Describe the opioid epidemic in West Virginia. *Discuss the pathophysiology of addiction. *Examine the parameters of diagnosing drug addiction. *Describe the symptoms of opioid use disorder. *Describe the symptoms of stimulant use disorder. *Review drug diversion, describing cases, causes and outcomes.
