Join us for our monthly Geriatrics Lunchtime Learning Series designed to promote interdisciplinary teams and quality care for geriatric patients. Target audience for this activity includes physicians in primary care and all specialties, nurses, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, and all other interested health care professionals. Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to • Recite the incidence of substance abuse among older adults (50+) • List what drugs of abuse are most prevalent among older adults • Discuss basic screening techniques for substance misuse • Recite motivational interviewing basics for interventions with older adults
