Description:
ACLS Course is designed to give the Healthcare Provider the basic knowledge to care for the patient in cardiac arrest and to manage acute coronary syndromes and stroke.
Notes:
• You must have a book or arrange to borrow one prior to the course or you will not be permitted to attend
• You must have a completed pretest with a rate of greater than 70%; cards will not be issued until the pretest is turned in. You are welcome to use the computer lab in the Simulation Center to take the test
• Business casual is the dress code
• To successfully pass to course you must score greater than an 84% on the test – if score is lower than 84% you will be remediated. Following remediation, you will be given the option to take a different version of the test (within 30 days) or retake the class
