Description:
Program Overview This one day conference will focus on current trends in epilepsy care and management. Target audience for this conference includes physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physical therapists. Overall Conference Objectives At the end of this conference, participants will be able to: 1.) Describe current trends in epilepsy care and management for the healthcare team 2.) Determine clinical criteria for diagnosis of epilepsy and enumerate best practices for diagnosis 3.) State best patient care strategies for patients with drug resistant epilepsy 4.) Specify counseling techniques for women with epilepsy and SUDEP
