The PALS Instructor Course is designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA Instructor-led and blended learning courses. The course educates instructor candidates on how to adequately use AHA Instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow AHA Instructor and course policies. The course covers core content and discipline-specific content required to teach AHA courses.

Upon receipt of payment, a course book will be mailed directly to you in order to prepare for this class. Please bring the book to class with you.

All registrants must take the online PALS Instructor Essentials Course at https://elearning.heart.org/course/28. The PALS Instructor Essentials Course ("pre-course") Fee is a separate fee through the AHA. Each registrant is solely responsible for bearing the pre-course fee. CAMC employees can contact the Training Center for additional payment options. A copy of the Certificate of Completion must be brought with you to class.
